Important note regarding the impeller on TAMD40 and TAMD41
Note: Some Volvo Penta TAMD40 and TAMD41 engines use a larger impeller and therefore a different impeller kit.
The impeller in this service kit fits TAMD40/TAMD41 with serial number 2004033317 and higher.
If the engine has a lower serial number, or if you are in doubt about which seawater pump is installed, the pump type and existing impeller must be checked before ordering.
Add a complete oil service
You can add engine oil to your order alongside the service kit so that the filters, impeller, and oil are all ready for the annual engine service.
We recommend Liqui Moly Marine 4T Engine Oil 15W-40 for relevant Volvo Penta 40 and 41 engines.
Always check the engine's correct oil capacity and oil specifications in the engine owner's manual.
Add antifreeze for winterization
If the engine service is being performed in connection with winter preparation, you can also add SKIPPER ONE Propylene Glycol Antifreeze -35°C for winterizing the engine's external seawater cooling system.
