This connector component for waterproof cable plugs is a brass male electrical contact. The contact is inserted into a compatible male connector housing and forms the electrical contact for one pole.
The male contact is suitable for the 1-, 2-, and 3-pole male connector housings with item nos. 14.235.20, 14.235.40, and 14.235.60. One contact is used per pole, so a 2-pole housing requires two contacts, while a 3-pole housing requires three.
The contact is supplied separately from the connector housing and seals. When used together with the corresponding connector housings and silicone sealing nipples, it forms part of the construction of a waterproof electrical cable connection. IP67 and ISO 15083 relate to the complete connector system and are not an independent classification or certification of the loose brass contact.
For the opposite connector side, female contact 14.236.46 is used together with a suitable female connector housing. Silicone sealing nipple 14.236.48 is used for sealing around the cables. The sales pack contains 50 male contacts.
