Shore power cable with Marinco connector is a pre-assembled maritime power connection cable for shore power on boats and yachts. This version is 16.5 m long and rated for 50 A at 125–220 V.
The yellow cable is made with four conductors and a configuration with three poles plus side grounding contact. The cable is supplied pre-assembled at one end with a Marinco female connector. The termination at the other end is not specified.
The cable section features stranded high-conductivity copper conductors and an outer diameter of 19 mm. The double protective jacket consists of an impact-resistant inner layer and an outer layer that is resistant to seawater, corrosion, and oil. The cable construction is specified according to IEC 60228 and EN 50363 and designated as Sea Water Resistant.
The pre-assembled female connector is rated IP56 and features a housing made of high-strength, glass-fiber reinforced thermopolymer and nickel-plated brass contacts. A waterproof yellow PVC protective cap protects the connection when not in use.
The connector can be paired with the compatible four-conductor inlet, item no. 14.487.01. The cable assembly consists of cable item no. 14.596.00, Marinco connector item no. 14.587.01, and protective cap item no. 14.587.04.
