This shore power cable with Marinco connector is a 15 m long, pre-assembled cable for marine shore power and quay connections with a nominal load of 32 A at 230 V. The cable features three conductors with a cross-section of 6 mm² per conductor and a visible yellow outer sheath.
The cable construction is designed for water and marine environments. The flexible Class 5 conductor consists of high-conductivity, bare electrolytic copper with TI2 PVC insulation, an inner PVC filler sheath, and an outer TM2 PVC sheath. The double sheath protects against mechanical stress and is resistant to seawater, corrosion, and oil. The conductor colors are blue, brown, and yellow/green.
Each 6 mm² conductor is made up of 80 strands of 0.300 mm and has a maximum electrical resistance of 3.30 Ω/km. The cable component has a voltage rating of 450/750 VAC, a test voltage of 2500 VAC, and a temperature range of −20 to +70 °C for fixed installation. The short-circuit temperature is 160 °C, and the minimum bending radius for fixed installation is 10 times the cable diameter.
The cable is pre-assembled on one side with a 3-pin, single-phase Marinco female connector and a yellow protective cover with a locking ring. The connector component has an IP56 rating, a glass-fiber-reinforced thermopolymer housing, and nickel-plated brass contacts. The opposite end of the cable is not documented with a specific plug type.
The assembled female connector can be connected to the compatible 32 A/230 V inlet, part no. 14.487.03. The cable assembly consists of cable component 14.593.00, connector component 14.587.03, and protective cover 14.587.04. The connector component has the cross-references 6360CRNXPK and 6360CRNX, while the cover has the references 66780D and 7715CRN. Waterproof sealing accessory 14.103.02 can be used together with the connector and cover, but is not included.
The cable component complies with IEC 60228, EN 50363, EN 50363-3, EN 50363-4-1, IEC 60332-1-2, NF C 15-100, HD 22.16 S2, and the EU Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The cable markings include the CE mark.
