Lenco electric replacement actuator for trim tabs in model 101 Standard is a 12 V DC actuator for replacement in Lenco Standard, Edge Mount, and Standard Performance trim tab kits. It belongs to the Lenco 100 Series and has manufacturer number 15054-001, OEM no. 20400-001, and the former designation 101-2.
The actuator has a stroke of 57 mm and a closed hole center-to-center distance of 292 mm. The upper and lower mounting holes measure 5/16" (approx. 8 mm). The self-locking ball screw holds the trim tab position and is driven by a high-torque electric motor with a thrust of approx. 227 kg. The normal travel speed is approx. 1" in 2 seconds.
The housing is made of high-strength, glass-fiber reinforced and UV-resistant nylon, while the cylinder is made of mirror-polished stainless steel. The sealed design is fully submersible and maintenance-free. Internally, machine-cut brass gears with steel inserts, ball bearings at both ends, and dual nitrile O-rings are used.
A fixed 6-foot (approx. 1.83 m) cable terminates in a waterproof Deutsch connector for easy connection. Stainless mounting hardware is included. Waterproof extension cables can be purchased separately, including item no. 51.259.02 at 4.2 m and 51.259.03 at 6.0 m.
The standard lower mounting bracket 51.258.11 can be used for this actuator. For replacement of the upper bracket, use 51.258.10 for installations up to and including 2007 or 51.258.12 for installations after 2007.
The actuator must only be used with compatible Lenco 100 Series controls and switches. Check voltage, manufacturer number, stroke, closed hole center-to-center distance, and mounting hole size before replacement. It must not be confused with 101XD variants, which have different mounting dimensions.
There is a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on Lenco 100 Series actuators.
