This Lenco replacement control box for dual-actuator trim tab systems is an electronic spare part for the older 123DR Tactile Switch system. The box has manufacturer part number 30112-001 and model designation 123DRCB, and is intended for an electric trim tab system with four actuators, with two actuators on each trim tab.
The control box features solid-state electronics and operates on 12 or 24 V DC. It is part of the plug-based system between the control panel, power supply, and actuators, and uses waterproof Plug & Play Deutsch connectors. This is the replacement control box itself and not a complete control panel kit.
The 123DR system has a built-in retractor function that retracts trim tabs when the ignition-controlled power is switched off. The orange retractor wire must therefore be connected to an ignition-controlled or other ON/OFF-controlled 12/24 V power source. The system installation must be protected by a fuse or circuit breaker of 30 A at 12 V or 20 A at 24 V. This 123DR variant does not have a self-check function.
The control box must be mounted on a vertical surface with the wires facing down toward the deck and no more than 60.96 cm from the opening for the keypad. The cable harness between the control box and the keypad is 76.2 cm long. The keypad cable must have sufficient slack and must not be bundled tightly with other cables, as this can put stress on the connector.
Compatibility
The control box is compatible with the Lenco 123DR Dual Actuator Indicator Trim Tab Switch and the older complete 15071-001 Tactile Switch kit. The compatible replacement keypad is the Lenco 30007-001D, model 123FP, which is also linked to item no. 51.262.03. In the complete system, the left side of the keypad controls the starboard trim tab, while the right side controls the port trim tab.
The spare part should not be confused with 30342-001 for the newer 123DR-V2/15271-001 system. Control panels and control boxes from the older system generations are not documented as compatible with the newer switch kits. Therefore, check the model and manufacturer part number before replacement.

Lenco 10249-001 is a separate 1.8 m power pigtail with 10 AWG wires and DTP connectors for the 123DRCB and is not documented as included. The system can also use the documented actuator cables 51.259.02 at 4.2 m, 51.259.03 at 6 m, or 51.259.04 at 7.8 m; one cable is used per actuator.
