Lenco Super Strong electric trim tab kit in the 24 V version features two 406 × 765 mm stainless steel trim tabs and dual actuators on each tab. The kit is designed for fast or heavy vessels and is recommended for hull lengths of 13.5–18 m, including larger cruising vessels, sport fishing boats, and commercial vessels.
The system consists of two trim tabs and four 101XD Extreme Duty electric actuators. Each actuator uses a ball screw drive, has a stroke of approx. 57 mm, and can deliver up to approx. 227 kg of force. The electric design requires no hydraulics. The actuators feature waterproof plug-and-play Deutsch connectors and approx. 1.8 m of cable.
The trim tabs are made of laser-cut 304 stainless steel with a standard finish and a material thickness of 4.6 mm. The completely flat tab design is developed to reduce spray and contribute to a cleaner and drier ride. The hinge pin has a diameter of 9.5 mm, and each tab is equipped with a sacrificial anode of approx. 9.5 cm.
The kit is supplied with corrosion-resistant upper and lower actuator brackets, mechanical cable glands, and stainless steel mounting bolts for the actuator brackets. Control panel, control box, and extension cables between the actuators and the control unit are not included and must be selected separately. The system must be used with controls designed for dual actuators and Lenco 100 Series.
Control panel 51.256.13 with part no. 15171-001 is designed for 12/24 V dual actuator systems. One suitable extension cable is required per actuator; documented cable options are 51.259.02 at 4.2 m, 51.259.03 at 6.0 m, and 51.259.04 at 7.8 m. The spare part actuator for this variant is 51.260.04 with part no. 15063-001.
