Straight tank fitting with hose barb for flexible water tank is a replacement outlet made of nylon with a straight design and Ø16 mm hose barb. It is used to lead water from a compatible flexible water tank to a 16 mm hose.
The fitting is installed through the tank wall. The construction consists of a fitting with an internal flange, an external ring at the tank wall, and fastening with a nut. The mounting principle secures the fitting on both sides of the flexible tank wall. It is not documented which loose mounting parts are included with the spare part.
The outlet must be placed as low as practically possible on the tank. The internal ring can be used to mark the hole, after which the tank wall is folded and the hole is cut. The flange is placed on the inside, while the ring is placed on the outside with the edge against the tank wall before the assembly is tightened with the nut. In case of inclined tank mounting, the tank's vent must be placed at the highest point.
