This space-saving basket strainer waste without overflow from Lira is designed for sinks with a Ø90 mm drain hole. The removable strainer basket collects debris and can be easily lifted out for emptying and cleaning.
The space-saving design routes the drain pipe horizontally close underneath the sink. The installation height is 87 mm, and the horizontal piping has a maximum length of 350 mm. The design thus frees up more usable space in the cabinet under the sink than a traditional vertical drain installation.
The basket strainer waste has an external flange diameter of 115 mm, M1 1/2" external thread, and a connection for a Ø40 mm drain pipe. The standard fastening can be used with a sink thickness of up to 27 mm. The product is suitable for stainless steel, synthetic, composite, and ceramic sinks.
The version has no connection for a sink overflow. It must therefore be used with a sink without an active overflow or in an installation where no overflow connection is required. The drain valve is manufactured in accordance with EN 274.
The product corresponds to Lira manufacturer item no. 1945.440 in the 1945 Basket Space Saver series, also referred to as Basket Bassa. For thicker sinks, the longer mounting screws 8.0100.32 for 18-46 mm and 8.0100.52 for 39-71 mm are available. The standard screw has item no. 8.0100.35.
Documented spare parts include strainer baskets 8.8445.01 and 8.8445.73 as well as standard gasket 8.0252.03 and acid-resistant gasket 8.0252.06. The basket strainer waste can be combined with the Lira Spazio 2 NT trap 9.1285.01 in white or 9.1285.02 in metallized finish; the trap is not included.
