This Lira space-saving basket strainer waste for sinks without overflow is model 1954 Basket Mini Space Saver. It is intended for sinks with a Ø60 mm drain hole and has a Ø70 mm flange.
The horizontal drain routing reduces space requirements under the sink. The design consists of a telescopic pipe and a 90° downward threaded outlet. The horizontal installation dimension can be adjusted from 150 to 385 mm, while the height from the underside of the flange to the bottom edge of the waste body is 80 mm.
The basket strainer features a removable basket/strainer, which makes it easy to remove collected particles and clean the drain. The outlet has a 1½" GAS thread, and the drain pipe has a diameter of 40 mm. The design does not include a connection for an overflow.
The model can be installed in sinks made of stainless steel and synthetic material. The standard configuration with screw 8.0100.20 supports a maximum sink thickness of 15 mm. Alternative screws for the series are 8.0100.32 for the 23-50 mm range and 8.0100.52 for the 40-76 mm range; these are optional and are not stated as included.
