Vertical level sensor for fresh water and blackwater with a sensor length of 32 cm is intended for monitoring the liquid level in tanks. The sensor provides a signal of 10–180 Ω and can be used for both fresh water and blackwater/wastewater.
The sensor is manufactured from stainless steel. A stainless steel protective cap restricts the ingress of dirt, making the design suitable for tank environments where impurities could otherwise affect the sensor's moving parts.
Installation is vertical via an international flange with five mounting holes. The documented length of 32 cm is the product length of the sensor and the variant-specific size in the product family.
The sensor can be combined with instruments for a 10–180 Ω sensor signal. Directly compatible indicators include part nos. 27.438.01, 27.438.02, 27.538.01, 27.538.02, 27.320.05, 27.321.05 and 27.322.05. Any supply voltage for the instruments is not a voltage specification for the sensor itself.
The product is covered by a RoHS declaration of conformity in accordance with Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by (EU) 2015/863. Other documented length variants in the same family are available in 25, 28, 38 and 48 cm.
