Polyester lifting sling for tenders with three adjustable arms is designed for lifting, launching, and retrieving tenders and inflatable dinghies. The version features two arms for the stern and one arm for the bow, as well as three quick-release carabiners.
The UV-resistant polyester straps can be adapted to various tenders with suitable lifting points. The effective length of the bow strap can be adjusted from 30 to 360 cm, while each of the two stern straps can be adjusted from 30 to 260 cm. The lengths are measured eye-to-eye.
The lifting plate and adjustment buckles are made of high-strength anodized aluminum. The three quick-release carabiners are made of AISI 316 stainless steel, which is suitable for the maritime environment. The system's maximum permissible load is 400 kg.
The lifting sling can be used in conjunction with a suitable davit system when the tender has appropriate attachment points at the bow and stern. The adjustable design makes the system applicable to various types of tenders without being limited to specific makes or models.
The product is patented and CE-approved. A static tensile test of the connection between the strap terminal and the metal plate anchor point resulted in breakage at 12.53 kN for the tested sample. The test result does not change the maximum permissible load of 400 kg and does not constitute documentation for use as personnel lifting or fall protection equipment.
