Mafrast waterproof and shockproof case WR-16 is developed for the storage and transport of instruments and other sensitive items that need protection against shock and moisture. The yellow case has external dimensions of 430 × 380 × 154 mm and internal dimensions of 395 × 320 × 117 mm.
The enclosure is made of impact-resistant resins and fitted with an O-ring seal. The construction is waterproof when submerged down to 9 m under water and protects the contents in demanding, humid environments.
Inside, the case has soft foam that can be customized to the shape of the items to be stored. The foam insert helps to secure and protect instruments and equipment during transport. Foam is placed in both the lid and the base.
A special vent and pressure relief valve is intended for use under water. The case is also equipped with a carrying handle and latches, making it practical to transport and close securely.
WR-16 is suitable as a protective case for maritime equipment, measuring instruments, electronics, and other items that require protection against moisture and mechanical impact.
