This HURRICANE electropneumatic recessed horn with integrated compressor and chrome-plated grille from Marco is a compact maritime signal horn for 12 V installations. Model HR1/C delivers a low, typical maritime tone with a sound pressure level of 120 dB(A) at 1 meter and a frequency of 300 Hz.
The compressor is integrated directly into the horn unit. This means that the installation does not require a separate compressor or the routing of an external air hose. The horn simply needs to be recessed and electrically connected, after which the integrated design provides immediate sound output upon activation of the horn switch.
The front grille is made of ASA plastic with a chrome-plated finish, while the mounting bracket is made of steel. The overall product dimensions of the horn are 202 × 156 × 134 mm, and the documented installation cutout is 202 × 120 mm.
