This HURRICANE electro-pneumatic flush-mount horn with chrome grille from Marco is model HR1/C for 24 V DC systems. The horn is designed for flush mounting in bulkheads, consoles, or similar suitable surfaces and functions as a powerful maritime signal horn.
The compressor is integrated into the horn housing, so the installation does not require an external compressor or a separate air hose. The integrated electro-pneumatic design activates the horn immediately when the horn button is pressed.
The horn delivers a sound pressure of 120 dB(A) at 1 meter and a frequency of 300 Hz. This provides a low, deep tone with a distinct maritime sound character.
The front grille is made of ASA plastic with a chrome finish, while the mounting bracket is made of steel. The overall product dimensions are 202 × 156 × 134 mm, and the specified flush-mount/trumpet dimension is 202 × 120 mm. The mounting holes are Ø5.5 mm.
The electrical connection is made using 90° Faston flat terminals, and correct polarity must be observed. At 24 V, the power consumption is 9 A.
