MARCO M3 compressor with 8 l compressed air tank is a compact, 24 V electric compressor unit for on-board compressed air-based horns. It serves as a dedicated compressor for the MARCO PW3 horn system and delivers compressed air with a capacity of approximately 47 l/min.
The unit combines a 240 W compressor and an integrated compressed air tank in one unified design. The tank has a capacity of 8 l, a maximum pressure of 8 bar, and is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The IP54 enclosure protects the unit against harmful dust ingress and water spray.
The compressor measures 380 mm in length, 192 mm in width, and 368 mm in height. The cylindrical part of the tank has a diameter of 175 mm. These dimensions should be used when planning the installation space for the complete compressor and tank unit.
The compressed air connection is designed for 8/6 mm tubing and features a push-in connection. MARCO RT8/6 nylon tubing with part no. 11130100 is documented as an accessory. RT6/4 nylon tubing with part no. 11130000 is also included in the manufacturer's accessory program for the M3.
The M3 is compatible with the MARCO PW3 horn system. During installation, it must be verified which valves, tubing, electrical components, and mounting parts are included with the selected horn.
