This Marina R II IP56 rocker switch without actuator is a single-pole, panel-mounted switch insert with an (ON)-OFF-(ON) switching function. It is recommended for the electrical control of hydraulic gangways, windlasses, and flaps or trim tabs.
Both ON positions are momentary and have a spring return to the central OFF position. The function is suitable for equipment that should only be activated while the switch is held in the desired direction.
The switch is intended for 12/24 V DC and has a maximum current capacity of 20 A at 12 V and 12 A at 24 V. The electrical connection is made via four terminals, and the IP56 protection rating protects the switch insert against dust and powerful water jets.
The dual red LED lighting consists of one LED for the function symbol and one LED for a separate slot below the symbol. The symbol illumination is designed to be constantly on, while the bottom indicator turns on when the controlled function is activated.
The switch insert is mounted in a rectangular panel hole measuring 21.5 × 36.8 mm. The visible Marina R II rocker front with backlit symbol is not included and must be ordered separately. Marina R II rocker fronts from the 14.299 series fit this switch series but are not compatible with older Marina R switches sold up to and including February 2021.
Relevant rocker fronts
For flap control, rocker front 14.299.43 or 14.299.04 can be used. For windlass operation, 14.299.53 or 14.299.14 can be used. Neutral rocker fronts without symbols are available as 14.299.48 and 14.299.09.
Compatible panel frame components include center insert 14.197.21, single-switch frame 14.197.22, blanking plug 14.197.23, and left/right end insert 14.197.31.
