Marina R II waterproof rocker switch without actuator is a panel-mount switch module with three fixed positions and an ON-OFF-ON switching function. The single-pole switch has four electrical terminals and is supplied without an actuator, which must be ordered separately.
The switching function is suitable for installations requiring a choice between two functions with a neutral center position. This variant is recommended for automatic and manual bilge pump operation as well as for controlling navigation lights in combination with masthead lights. There is no documented spring return in any of the positions.
The switch is designed with dual red LEDs. One LED illuminates the symbol on the separate actuator and is always on, while the other illuminates a slot below the symbol and turns on when the associated function or device is activated.
The ingress protection rating is IP56. The switch is mounted in a rectangular panel cutout of 21.5 × 36.8 mm. The maximum current load is 20 A at 12 V and 12 A at 24 V.
A suitable Marina R II actuator is required to complete the installation. For navigation lights, item no. 14.299.40 or 14.299.01 can be used, while item no. 14.299.46 or 14.299.07 are designed with a bilge pump symbol. Neutral actuators without symbols are available as item no. 14.299.48 and 14.299.09. The current Marina R II actuators are not compatible with older Marina R switches sold up to and including February 2021.
The switch can also be mounted with compatible panel frames and inserts for the 14.298.xx series, including item no. 14.197.21, 14.197.22, 14.197.23, and 14.197.31.
