Marina R waterproof rocker switch without actuator is a panel-mounted three-position switch with an ON-OFF-ON switching function. It is designed for 12/24 V DC installations and can be used to select between two separate electrical circuits with a common central off position.
The switch has an IP56 protection rating and is mounted in a rectangular panel cutout of 21.5 × 36.8 mm. The maximum load is 20 A at 12 V and 15 A at 24 V. The actuator with symbol cover is not included and must be selected separately based on the installation function.
Two red LED functions provide separate illumination for operation and status indication. One LED illuminates the symbol on the selected actuator and is permanently on. The second LED illuminates a separate slot below the symbol when the connected load is activated.
The four terminals are intended for the battery positive and negative as well as positive connections for load 1 and load 2. The ON-OFF-ON function is documented for automatic or manual control of bilge pumps as well as operation of navigation lights and masthead lights.
The switch uses spare actuators from the 14.199 series for Marina R switches of type 14.198.xx sold up until February 2021. Relevant symbol actuators include 14.199.01 and 14.199.40 for navigation lights as well as 14.199.07, 14.199.10, 14.199.46 and 14.199.49 for bilge pumps. It can also be fitted with frame parts 14.197.21, 14.197.22, 14.197.23 and 14.197.31.
The model is discontinued and is succeeded by 14.298.04. The successor model is not technically identical, as its maximum load at 24 V is 12 A compared to 15 A for this switch.
