This Marina R waterproof double-LED rocker switch module features an ON-OFF-(ON) switching function and is designed for controlling a bilge pump with a choice between automatic and manual operation in 12/24 V DC maritime systems. The module is supplied as a switch insert without a separate rocker or actuator surface.
The switching function has a fixed ON position, an OFF position, and a momentary (ON) position with spring return. The module has four terminals and a maximum current capacity of 20 A at 12 V and 15 A at 24 V.
The ingress protection rating is IP56. The switch module is mounted in a panel and requires a rectangular mounting cutout of 21.5 × 36.8 mm. The overall front size and installation depth are not specified.
Two red LEDs provide separate function and status indication. One LED illuminates the symbol permanently, while the other illuminates a separate light slit when the connected function is activated. The LED light is designed to shine through the compatible Marina R rocker, which must be ordered separately.
The switch insert uses compatible rockers from the older 14.199.xx series for Marina R switches in the 14.198.xx series sold up to and including February 2021. Rockers 14.199.07 and 14.199.46 feature a bilge pump symbol, while 14.199.10 and 14.199.49 feature the bilge pump 2 symbol. The newer 14.299.xx rocker series is not compatible with this switch generation.
Compatible panel parts include central insert 14.197.21, frame for one switch 14.197.22, blanking plug 14.197.23, and right/left end insert 14.197.31. The switch module is a discontinued model, so compatibility with existing panel parts and rockers should be checked before ordering.
