Marlin Eco Sil biocide-free foul-release coating for sonar transducers is a transparent 70 ml kit that protects transducers against marine fouling. The silicone-based coating is developed for plastic surfaces and functions without the release of biocides.
The foul-release system makes it more difficult for fouling to adhere effectively to the transducer surface. Any growth can be loosened by the boat's movement through the water or removed by light cleaning with a sponge.
The coating has strong adhesion to plastic and is formulated so that it does not interfere with the transducer's sonar signal. It can therefore be used on echo sounder, sonar, fishfinder, and depth gauge transducers with plastic surfaces without affecting signal transmission.
The solvents in the coating do not attack the transducer's plastic parts, gaskets, or seals. The product is supplied as a complete kit with a small brush for application.
