Marsupio navigation kit for 6 people consolidates navigation and safety equipment for sailing up to 6 nautical miles into a single storage bag. The bag can also be used as a soft cushion, allowing the kit to be stored together and easily accessible on board.
The set includes six VIP Challenger MK4 life jackets for adults over 40 kg. Each jacket has a buoyancy class of 100 N and is made with soft foam, a quick-release buckle, whistle, and reflective strips in accordance with EN ISO 12402-4. Also included is a 1 kg MED-approved powder fire extinguisher with fire rating 5A 34B C, corrosion-resistant aluminum container, mounting bracket, and a design without a pressure gauge.
The anchor equipment consists of a 4 kg folding grapnel anchor made of hot-dip galvanized cast steel and 30 m of polyester anchor line with a diameter of 8 mm. The anchor has a counterweight on the shank for better balance and can be folded for storage. The set also includes a 30 m, Ø 8 mm orange floating line for a lifebuoy with a documented breaking load of 400 kg.
The included emergency signal set consists of two hand flares, two smoke/signal buoys, and two parachute rockets and is MED-approved according to Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU. Additional equipment includes an Italian merchant flag in polyester measuring 20 × 30 cm, a plastic foghorn, a polypropylene boat hook component, and an inflatable black anchor ball with a diameter of 400 mm.
The kit's light buoy field refers to item no. 30.583.00 or 30.584.00; the specific variant provided is not specified. A separate automatic light signal and a COLREG table of visual signals are not included. The composition of the set is updated according to Italian DM no. 133 of September 21, 2024, and is aimed at Italian safety regulations. Always check the applicable requirements for the vessel and the current waters. For vessels without CE certification, there may also be requirements for a bailer or bilge pump; this is not listed as included.
