This MASE IS-series soundproof marine diesel generator in model IS 2.6 is a stationary, single-phase generator set for fixed installation on board leisure craft. The generator delivers up to 2.0 kW at 50 Hz and has a continuous power output of 1.7 kW. The output can be configured to 115 V AC at 17.4 A or 230 V AC at 8.7 A.
The unit is powered by a 1-cylinder Yanmar L48N 4-stroke diesel engine with direct injection, 12 V electric start, and an engine speed of 3000 rpm. Fuel consumption is 0.7 l/hour at full load. Automatic safety stop protects against low oil pressure as well as high engine, exhaust gas, or generator winding temperature.
The synchronous generator is 2-pole, self-regulating, self-exciting, and brushless. The rotor is dynamically balanced, while the rotor and stator are protected with an epoxy coating. The generator has insulation class H, voltage stability of ±10%, frequency stability of ±5%, and a battery charging output of 10 A at 12 V.
The air/water cooling system uses a heat exchanger between the generator's cooling air and seawater. This contributes to a stable operating temperature, even when the unit is mounted in an enclosed installation space. The seawater pump has a capacity of 20 l/min, and the connections include Ø16 mm seawater, Ø45 mm exhaust, and Ø8 mm fuel supply and return.
The soundproof enclosure is built around a self-supporting frame of aluminum profiles with coated panels in marine-grade 5754 aluminum. A double vibration damping system reduces vibrations between the engine, generator, frame, and boat. The sound level is 54 dB(A) at 7 m. The product dimensions are 500 × 380 × 465 mm, and the dry weight is 80 kg.
The InteliNanoNT MRS 3 control unit has a 118 × 118 mm panel with IP65 rating and a 10 m connection cable. The panel supports manual start and displays, among other things, AC voltage, frequency, engine RPM, running hours, starter battery voltage, oil pressure, and engine temperature. Alarm history, service warning, engine preheating, emergency stop, and thermal protection are integrated. The cabinet's access panels provide access to the seawater pump, air filter, oil and fuel filter, and the integrated oil drain pump.
