This porous bronze grounding plate is a rectangular Medium variant for establishing a suitable electrical ground and RF ground reference for marine electronics. The plate measures 205 × 64 × 13 mm and has a copper grounding equivalent of 2 m².
The porous bronze construction provides a large effective contact surface in relation to the plate's external dimensions. It supports an appropriate ground connection when installing Loran, GPS, satellite equipment, and SSB radiotelephones.
The plate is designed to help reduce radio interference in sensitive onboard electronic installations. It can thus serve as a grounding interface where navigation and communication equipment require an effective ground connection.
The rectangular plate has two mounting holes and is supplied with special nuts and bolts for attachment. The product weight is 0.79 kg.
