This 2-pin low-voltage male plug with screw terminals is a straight, cable-mounted MENNEKES 629A connector for robust electrical low-voltage connections. The plug is rated for 12/24 V applications, a maximum current of 16 A, and an IP44 enclosure rating.
The male plug can be paired with the corresponding 2-pin female connectors: the cable-mounted female connector with item no. 14.337.02 and the panel-mounted socket with item no. 14.337.03. The standard contacts and the violet voltage coding follow the product design according to DIN EN IEC 60309-2.
12/24 V is the product's application rating. The formal rated voltage class for model 629A is 20–25 V AC at 50–60 Hz. Connection is made using screw terminals for conductor cross-sections of 4–10 mm². The terminal screws can be operated with a PZ2 or flat-head screwdriver, and square-crimped, gas-tight wire end ferrules are recommended.
The cable-mounted design features both strain relief and cable kink protection, which relieves the conductor at the cable entry. The plug does not have a phase inverter, pilot contact, or separate protective cap.
