Mente Marine FCP control panel for 2nd helm station for ACS A is an additional control panel for a secondary steering position, such as on a flybridge. The panel is an accessory for the Mente Marine ACS A and does not function as an independent unit for automatic trim tab control.
When the FCP is connected to the ACS A, the trim tabs can be operated manually from the additional helm station. The panel also allows for activating the automatic control and displays the estimated trim tab position. The main panel and the FCP can be active simultaneously, allowing the system to be operated from both steering positions.
The front panel measures 80 × 77.5 mm and has a depth of 10 mm. Installation is carried out using two side-mounted Ø4 mm mounting holes with a center distance of 67 mm, as well as a central Ø32 mm feed-through for the cable and connector. For outdoor installation, a waterproof seal must be applied around the drill holes and feed-through. Always use the drilling and installation template provided with the panel.
The FCP is connected in parallel with the ACS A main panel at the control unit. The yellow, green, brown, and white wires are connected to terminals 7, 8, 9, and 10, respectively. Strip the wires 13 mm, then pair wires of the same color in the included cable ferrules and secure them in the screw terminals.
The panel has an IP68 protection rating. The operating temperature is −10 to +85 °C, while the documented storage temperature is −40 to +85 °C. Compatibility with trim tab actuators and hydraulic pumps is determined by the connected ACS A system; the FCP is not connected directly to these components.
The associated ACS A main unit has item no. 51.310.03 and is required to use the FCP as an additional control panel.
