The powerful gearbox, combined with a gear ratio of 2.38:1 and Mercury's extensive range of propellers is the perfect match for all mid-range boats. Whether you are fishing, water sports, cruising or commercial, there is a Mercury 80-115hp engine to suit your needs. All models are built on the same powerful 2.1l engine block.

Although it is a traditional engine design, the fuel economy is one of the best in its class, the weight of 163 kg is not available lighter in the class.
All models are compatible with SmartCraft digital instrumentation, and come with a SmartCraft SC1000 tachometer and Spitfire 4-blade aluminum propellers.

These 4-strokes replace 2.1-liter engines by working smarter, not harder, resulting in improved durability and longer life. In addition, the engines have the best torque on the market, superior acceleration and a fantastic top speed.

Low weight, combined with large volume, means these 4-stroke outboard engines give you maximum fuel efficiency,
especially at cruising speed. An additional development effort to minimize so-called oil friction internally in the engine has resulted in even higher performance and improved fuel consumption.
As of March 2020, this engine ships from the factory with VesselView Mobile.
This means you always know the status of your engine, whether you're sitting at home on the couch or on the water with friends and family. You also get a full overview of fuel economy, performance and can of course choose to share your data directly on social media.
