Quicksilver thermostat housing bushing for MerCruiser is an original OEM bushing made of reinforced PBT thermoplastic. The part is installed in the thermostat housing, where it supports the thermostat and contributes to the proper function of the cooling system.
The bushing is used on selected MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard engines with standard or raw water cooling. Documented compatibility includes selected 3.0L GM 181 I/L4, 4.3L GM 262 V6, 5.0L V8, 5.7L/350 V8, 6.2L/377 V8, 7.4L/454 V8, and 8.2L/502 V8 engines.
