This Mickey mounting base set for pushpits in AISI 316 stainless steel consists of a right and a left base for mounting the Mickey bimini system onto the boat's pushpit. The set is intended for pushpits with an outer tube diameter of 30–34 mm and a support arm with an outer tube diameter of 25–28 mm.
The two bases are mechanically mounted around the pushpit and support arm at their intersection. The positioning at the junction prevents the bushings from rotating around the tubes. Mounting screws are included.
The assembly can be adapted to an angle of 45–90° between the pushpit and the support arm. The bases are designed with an angle of 15° towards the bow or stern, as well as an outward tilt of 12° towards the outside of the boat.
The combination of these two design angles supports the self-tensioning function of the Mickey system and makes it possible to utilize a larger coverage area for the bimini fabric or sunshade. The construction is made of corrosion-resistant AISI 316 stainless steel for maritime use.
