These AISI 316 stainless steel pulpit mounting bases for the Mickey system are supplied as a pair with a right and a left base, DX and SX. The variant is intended for both pulpits and support arms with an outer diameter of 22-26 mm.
The bases are attached to the pulpit at the point where it crosses the bimini support arm. This placement prevents the mounting sleeves from rotating. The necessary screws for attachment are included.
The construction can be used at a joining angle between the pulpit and support arm of 45-90°. The bases have a fixed orientation of 15° towards the bow or stern, as well as an outward tilt of 12° from the boat.
The fixed angles are part of the Mickey system's self-tensioning design and are intended to increase the usable width of a bimini or sunshade. The product is a mounting component and does not in itself constitute a complete bimini system.
