This MIMIC PAINT flexible spray paint for PVC and flexible surfaces is supplied in a 400 ml aerosol can in blue color RAL 5005. It is developed for renovating and recoloring surfaces that bend, stretch, or are subjected to friction.
The spray paint can be used on PVC, neoprene, rubber, artificial leather, and skai. It is suitable for, among other things, PVC dinghies, inflatable boats, fenders, fender heads, upholstery, air mattresses, wetsuits, and buoys. One can has a stated coverage of up to 2 m² depending on the surface and application.
The surface must be clean, degreased, and completely dry before treatment. Spray from a distance of approximately 20 cm, wait a few minutes, and repeat if necessary until the desired result is achieved. The product must not be applied in direct sunlight or on overheated surfaces. Always test first on a small, hidden area.
The treated surface can be put into use after approximately 30 minutes, but must not come into contact with water until the paint is completely dry. The treatment has a stated durability of 1 year, but the actual durability depends on the surface, pre-treatment, and usage conditions.
The spray can can be stored stably for up to 24 months at 5–35 °C and must be protected from frost. The product is an extremely flammable aerosol under pressure and must be used outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Protect the container from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C, and do not puncture or burn it, even after use.
