This adapter insert kit from Monster Tower is used for mounting compatible wakeboard, wakesurf, and water ski racks onto tower tubing with an outer diameter of Ø 41–63 mm. The kit adapts the racks' 2.5"/approx. 64 mm standard clamp to tower tubing with a smaller diameter.
The adapter inserts are placed between the tower tube and the accessory's existing tube clamp. They fill the space around the tube and contribute to a stable and rattle-free installation. The inserts are made of plastic and can also be used as replacements for worn or broken adapter inserts.
The kit is intended for Monster Tower racks and compatible mirror mounts. It allows these mounts to be installed on tower tubing of various diameters, including many common aftermarket towers. The term universal refers to the tube diameter and does not mean that the inserts fit tube clamps from all other manufacturers.
The adapter insert kit can be used with the corresponding rack variants with item no. 48.415.13, 48.415.25, 48.415.31, and 48.415.32. It is not compatible with swivel racks or swivel adapters.
