Tinned installation cable 4.0 mm² is a tinned marine cable for electrical installations on board, where there are requirements for low resistance and a stable connection in humid environments. The tinning prevents browning of the copper, which can otherwise cause voltage drops.
The cable is easy to bend for demanding installations and is resistant to moisture, diesel, petrol, and diluted acid. The specification is printed on the insulation, and the cable is supplied as 4 m in a bag.
