This motor flushing muff is designed for flushing the cooling water intakes on Mercury and MerCruiser BRAVO engines. It supplies water to the engine or drive's cooling system during flushing and maintenance.
The design consists of two opposing, round flushing cups that are placed around the water intakes. The bracket holds the cups on either side of the drive so that water is directed into the cooling water openings.
The integrated quick-connect coupling allows for the connection of a water hose with a standard snap adapter. The muff's specific construction is developed for the documented Mercury and MerCruiser BRAVO applications and is not a universal flushing muff for all engine legs and drives.
The product corresponds to original reference 44357Q-2, also written as 44357Q2. Check the design of the water intake and the engine or drive model before use, as installations with dual water intakes may require additional sealing of the other intakes.
