This motor flusher in the Motor Flusher A-series is designed to supply fresh water to the boat engine's water intake while flushing the cooling water system. This variant is developed for OMC and Mercury sterndrives as well as outboard motors that meet the specified compatibility requirements.
The flushing muff is placed over the engine's water intake on the lower unit or gear housing. It directs water from a connected garden hose into the cooling water intake, allowing the engine's cooling water system to be flushed.
The connection is a universal click-on type commonly found on garden hoses. It connects to a suitable click-on hose fitting, meaning no documented model-specific hose adapter is required for this variant.
The motor flusher can be used for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboard motors with an output of up to 300 hp. The engine must have a water intake on the lower unit or gear housing that the flushing muff can be positioned over correctly.
