These waterproof plastic connector housings from the MTA SEAL 2.8 series are designed as 1-pole female housings for cable-mounted, separable electrical connections. The package contains 5 pieces and is intended for installations with cables up to 1.2 mm².
The housing is made of black PA66 polyamide and measures 29.9 mm in length and 8 mm in width. The construction has an IP67 rating and complies with ISO 15083, making it suitable for electrical installations where the connection must be protected against dust and water.
Each contact position is equipped with a separate female brass contact, which is inserted into the housing. For this 1-pole variant, one contact with item no. 14.236.46 is used. A separate cable seal around the wire ensures a waterproof closure; item no. 14.236.48 is the documented seal for cables of 0.5–1.5 mm². Contacts and cable seals are not documented as included.
The connector housing belongs to the Metripack F280 contact system and mates with the corresponding 1-pole male housing with item no. 14.235.20. The complete connector is thus assembled from housings, matching brass contacts, and cable seals.
