Multiflex hydraulic steering system kit for inboard engines up to 115 hp is a complete, manual hydraulic boat steering system featuring an LM-HP-16 helm pump, LM-IC-AL steering cylinder, hydraulic hoses, fittings, and hydraulic oil.
The semi-recessed LM-HP-16 helm pump is an axial piston pump with five pistons and a fixed displacement of 16 cm³ per helm revolution. The pump features a ball-bearing piston track, a built-in lock valve, and an integrated pressure relief valve set at 50 bar. The lock valve reduces the transfer of feedback from the cylinder and rudder to the steering wheel, while the pressure relief valve protects the steering circuit against abnormal pressure spikes.
The helm pump has a 3/4″ tapered steering shaft and ports with 9/16-24 UNEF threads. It can be used with steering wheels up to 350 mm in diameter. The included LM-IC-AL cylinder is front-mounted and has a volume of 60 cm³ and a stroke length of 160 mm.
The kit comes with two 6 m hydraulic hoses in a 9/16″ dimension. The hoses can be shortened to the required installation length and are equipped with reusable terminal fittings. 1 liter of hydraulic oil for the system is also included.
The steering system complies with Directive 2013/53/EU and the ISO 10592:1995/A1:2000 standard. The system is configured for hydraulic steering of boats with inboard engines and a maximum engine power of 115 hp.
