This nautical navigation divider in mirror-polished brass is a 177 mm one-handed model for manual chart work and traditional navigation. It is used to measure and transfer distances on nautical charts.
The lyre-shaped construction is designed for one-handed operation. The divider is made of mirror-polished brass and has hard, mirror-polished steel tips, which form the two contact points when measuring on the chart.
A protective plastic case is included for storing the divider when not in use. The case also protects the sharp ends during transport and storage alongside other navigation and charting tools.
