This freestanding stainless steel gas hob from Navy Load is model NL.20008, featuring one burner with a nominal burner output of 1750 W. It is intended for private cooking using LPG/bottled gas and can be used in boat galleys, motorhomes, caravans, and campervans, provided the installation meets current gas and ventilation requirements.
The hob is made of AISI 304 stainless steel with a polished, silver-coloured surface. The semi-rapid burner has a diameter of 88 mm and is intended for pots with a recommended base diameter of 160-220 mm. The burner features a metal cover, a flame spreader in high-temperature resistant aluminium, and a heat-shielding flange in stainless steel.
Operation and ignition are manual, using a match or a separate electric gas lighter. The built-in safety thermocouple acts as a flame failure device and shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out. In the event of accidental flame extinction, the control knob must be set to off, and at least one minute must pass before attempting to reignite.
The external dimensions are 210 × 290 × 90 mm, where 90 mm is the height. The hob is intended for freestanding or surface-mounted installation and is secured with screws and brackets. The gas inlet is a cylindrical, non-threaded 8 mm pipe stub with a length of at least 30 mm. The Danish gas configuration is I3B/P for G30/G31 at 30 mbar.
The installation must be carried out by qualified personnel and concluded with a leak test of the gas installation without the use of an open flame. The hob may only be used in a sufficiently ventilated area and does not have a separate flue for combustion products. A minimum clearance of 650 mm is required between the hob and furniture or a cooker hood above.
A single pot holder, item no. 50.100.91, can be purchased separately to stabilise the pot. The pot holder is not included. Stainless steel parts and removable burner components can be cleaned with warm soapy water; a steam cleaner must not be used.
