This built-in stainless steel gas hob with a black glass lid from Navy Load is model NL.21001 featuring one semi-rapid burner. It is designed for compact kitchen installations in boats, campers, and other vehicles, where a flush-mounted gas hob with a lid provides efficient use of the work surface.
The hob is made of AISI 304 stainless steel and has a self-locking lid made of black, tinted, and tempered glass. Concealed hinges provide a clean built-in appearance, while the stainless steel pan support is fitted with vibration-damping rubber feet. The semi-rapid burner has a diameter of 88 mm and an output of 1,750 W. The recommended pot diameter is 160–220 mm.
The NL.21001 uses LPG and has a gas consumption of 131 g/hour. For Danish configuration, the appliance is classified for G30/G31 at 30 mbar in gas category I3B/P. The ignition is manual and requires no electrical power supply. The control knob has maximum, minimum, and off positions.
A thermoelectric safety system monitors the flame and shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out unintentionally. When igniting, the control knob must be held down for a few seconds to activate the thermocouple. If the flame goes out, the knob must be turned to off, and one must wait at least one minute before attempting to ignite again.
The hob measures 352 × 322 mm and requires a cutout of 342 × 310 mm. The installation depth is 119 mm. The gas inlet is a side-facing, smooth pipe end of Ø 8 mm without threads and with at least 30 mm of free pipe length. Installation, adjustment, and maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel, and the gas type and supply pressure must be checked against the appliance's rating plate.
During installation, there must be at least 650 mm from the pan support to an overhead cabinet or extractor hood. The model-specific clearance dimensions to adjacent furniture and walls are X = 55 mm and Y = 100 mm as defined in the installation instructions. Materials surrounding the appliance must be able to withstand a temperature increase of at least 65 K. The appliance does not have a separate exhaust for combustion products and therefore requires ventilation according to current regulations; the installation manual specifies at least 2 m³ of air per hour per installed kW and a direct ventilation opening of at least 100 cm².
Mounting is carried out using MS SUPER silicone or equivalent along the underside of the glass with at least three hours of curing time. For flush mounting, a 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep recess is used around the cutout. The hob is installation class 3, CE-marked, and covered by EU type-examination certificate 51DM5055. The certification follows Regulation (EU) 2016/426 as well as EN 30-1-1:2008 + A3:2013 and EN 30-2-1:2015.
Stainless steel parts are cleaned with warm soapy water. The burner cap and flame diffuser can be removed for standard cleaning; steam jets must not be used. A pan holder can be purchased separately as item no. 50.100.91 or Navy Load NL.30004. The product comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
