Retractable telescopic davit set in anodized aluminum consists of two universal davits for lifting and hanging tenders, dinghies, and gangways. The davits are mounted flush through the deck and are hidden under the walking surface when retracted, keeping the deck clear.
Each davit has a flush-mounted handle in the head, which is lifted by pressing the two tabs. The handle is used to pull the davit up, while markings on the tube and base help to position the extraction and locking mechanism correctly. The telescopic tubes can be adjusted and locked, allowing the outreach to be adjusted from 550 to 900 mm depending on the application.
The davit head is equipped with a double sheave and an attachment point for lifting gear. The system has a safe static working load of 180 kg per pair when evenly distributed, corresponding to 90 kg per davit. The davits can be oriented longitudinally for the tender, inward toward the boat for a gangway, or outward for lifting the tender's outboard motor. The working direction must be set before the system is loaded.
Each davit has a height of 990 mm and a retractable section of 1115 mm. The telescopic tubes measure Ø 73/80 mm. The visible mounting base has a diameter of 160 mm, and installation requires a cut-out hole of Ø 112 mm. The construction includes an anodized aluminum support base, anti-shock gasket, and drainage system.
Where there is a risk of water ingress, optional PVC drain bags (item no. 42.358.90) can be mounted under the davit bases. The bags are supplied as a pair with a hose nozzle and are secured with metal clamps. A separate pulley system with a double block, line, and snap hook can be used; a double block with item no. 68.602.72 is documented as a suitable option. Item no. 49.560.00 is an optional coupling kit for attachment to the gangway.
The davit system must not be used with people or other objects in the tender or on the gangway during lifting. The system must also not be rotated or moved under load, or operated while the boat is in motion. Remove the tender's drain plug during storage, and rinse the davits with fresh water after use in corrosive environments.
