This New Edge 30 A waterproof shore power socket is a chrome-plated power socket for maritime shore power and mains connection. It is designed for 220/110 V and a maximum current of 30 A.
The socket is IP56-rated and features a snap-lock closure. The chrome-plated finish is made of chrome-plated ABS, while the housing is also described as UV-resistant Luran. The material designations describe separate documented product properties and are therefore not combined into a single material construction.
The electrical contacts are made of silver-plated brass. A rear cable protection cover protects the cable routing at the back and contributes to a shielded installation.
The blue plug with item no. 14.332.00 can be used as a separate 30 A/220 V plug for the socket. The plug is an optional accessory and is not included. Related 30 A cable products include item nos. 14.334.10, 14.334.11, 14.334.15 and 14.334.16.
