NMEA 2000® backbone/drop cable 6 m (19 ft) is used to expand and build a stable NMEA 2000 network on board where longer cable runs are needed between the backbone and devices. The cable ensures stable data and power transmission between instruments, sensors, engine interfaces, and multifunction displays throughout the system.
With its longer length, the cable is ideal for installations where equipment is located further apart – for example, between the cockpit, engine, and instrument panel.
