This NMEA 2000 connector and cable kit is a component set for establishing or expanding an NMEA 2000 network on board. The kit uses Micro connectors and brings together the central connection parts for power supply, termination, distribution, and cable connection in the network.
The kit includes a power cable with a T-piece, a female terminator, a 3-port connection node, as well as a 2 m male/female connection cable. The connection node has two female ports and one male port, while the terminator has a resistance of 120 Ω.
The connectors are made of metal and finished in blue. The connector format is Micro for conductor dimensions of 22 AWG and 24 AWG, and the described connections have five pins. The IP68 protection class protects the connections against the ingress of dust and water under the conditions covered by the classification.
The described connections are rated for up to 60 V. The cables are rated for 3 A, while certain connectors and connections are rated for 4 A.
