This ISO 15085-compliant boat emergency ladder is a foldable safety ladder with 11 steps that allows a person in the water to climb back on board in an emergency. The ladder is stored in a black PVC case on the boat's stern pulpit or rear railing, ensuring it is ready for use.
The ladder is made of polyester webbing and has an unfolded length of 3300 mm and a width of 250 mm. The steps are reinforced with fiberglass inserts, which stiffen the structure during use. Fluorescent FLUO strips on the steps improve visibility at night.
The black PVC case measures 280 × 254 × 60 mm and features a retroreflective strip, making the case easier to locate in low-light conditions. When not in use, the ladder is kept folded and protected inside the case.
Installation is carried out on the stern pulpit or rear railing using two black, satin-finished stainless steel buckles and two TENAX fasteners. The mounting system is integrated into the product, allowing for simple and quick installation.
The ladder is intended specifically for emergency re-boarding. There are no requirements specified regarding a particular boat type, tube diameter, or boat length, so the suitability of the mounting location should be verified before installation.
