SILENT Comfort electric marine toilet with large bowl is a 12 V hydro-vacuum toilet for marine use. It features automatic water supply and flushing, a built-in centrifugal macerator and discharge pump, and a large sanitary ceramic bowl. The system is designed for low noise levels and reduced water consumption compared to conventional electric marine toilets.
The included intelligent control panel has functions for Before use, After use, and Short cycle. Water consumption can be regulated from 1 to 5 liters per cycle, allowing the flush volume to be adapted to the application. The high-pressure Spray Nozzle distributes flush water over the entire surface of the bowl for quick and efficient cleaning. The toilet is designed to remain empty when not in use.
The bowl measures 365 mm in width, 460 mm in depth, and 385 mm in height with the seat closed. The height is 730 mm with the seat and lid open. The construction includes an impact-resistant base and a large soft-close seat that closes in a controlled manner. The net weight of the product is 11 kg.
The water inlet is designed for a hose with an internal diameter of 19 mm (3/4"), while the outlet is Ø38 mm and can be connected to a blackwater tank or another legal discharge solution. Flush water can be supplied from the sea or raw water via a separate self-priming pump, or from the boat's pressurized fresh or salt water system via a solenoid valve. For pressurized water supply, the relevant system pressure is 2.5-3.5 bar, and the system must be able to deliver at least approximately 11 l/min.
The toilet is floor-mounted with brackets and screws and can be installed above or below the waterline. For installation below the waterline and with direct discharge, the installation must be carried out with the prescribed vented anti-siphon loop and in accordance with the provided installation instructions. It can be used as a standalone toilet or as part of a central installation where one common water pump supplies multiple toilets through individual solenoid valves.
The 12 V variant has a power consumption of 19 A and must be connected to a separate supply circuit with correct polarity and full voltage at the motor. The SILENT system is specified in accordance with ISO 8846 Marine and EN 55014, as well as ECE R10 approval for the SILENT Hidro system type. The integrated centrifugal pump has a stated system capacity of 200 l/min and is designed to reduce the risk of clogging.
Only organic waste and biodegradable toilet paper may be passed through the system. Strong cleaning agents should be avoided, as residues can damage the pump's rubber seals. A two-year manufacturer's warranty is provided with correct installation and use.
Optional equipment and spare parts
For sea or raw water supply, the self-priming 12 V pump with item no. 16.525.12 can be used. For the boat's pressurized water system, the 12 V solenoid valve with item no. 50.203.10 can be used. The spare control panel has item no. 50.204.42. Other documented spare parts include soft-close seat 50.207.52, base and gasket 50.209.81, 12 V motor unit 50.209.93, discharge kit 50.209.17, water inlet kit 50.207.16 and 50.207.43, large spare bowl 50.207.44, and hinge set 50.207.49. This variant is not prepared for a bidet kit.
