Description
OceanFlex Tinned Copper Cable - Black 4.0 mm², 1 m
This is a single insulated, tinned assembly cable designed for use in harsh working environments. It is manufactured in accordance with ISO 6722-1:2011 (Class B) and has a durable PVC insulation that provides good resistance to abrasion and cutting, whilst remaining flexible.
Areas of application:
- Automotive industry (wiring systems, lighting, accessories)
- Marine applications (electronics, lighting, instrumentation)
- General low voltage installations
- 12V and 24V systems (max. 60V)
Features:
- Tinned copper conductors for increased corrosion resistance, especially important in marine and humid environments.
- Durable PVC insulation for good wear resistance and protection.
- Good resistance to gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricating oils and diluted acid.
- Suitable for use at temperatures from -40ºC to 105ºC.
- Very good resistance to moisture.
- The cable is marked with the specifications on the insulation.
- High temperature thin wall cable.
Specifications:
- Color: Black
- Length: 1 meter
- Cross section: 4.0 mm²
- Outer diameter: 3.7 mm
- Voltage: 12/24 V (max. 60V)
Important points:
- This cable has a slightly larger cross-section than the previously mentioned 2.5mm2, and can therefore be used in situations that require slightly higher currents.
- The black color is often used for ground connections, or other negative electrical connections.
- That the cable complies with ISO 6722-1: 2011 (class B) means that it complies with an international standard for automotive and marine use.
- The tinned copper conductors provide extra protection in very humid environments, such as marine environments.
This cable is designed to deliver reliable and durable performance in a variety of low voltage applications, particularly in marine and automotive environments.
