This Oceanlife liferaft in a hard container is an inflatable Arimar Oceanus C IT liferaft with a capacity for 6 people. It is intended for Italian-flagged leisure craft navigating more than 12 nautical miles from the coast and is supplied in a robust, hard ABS container.
The liferaft features a thermally insulating floor, interior and exterior lighting, and an automatically deployable canopy. Four stabilization pockets help to stabilize the raft in the water. The inflation system is designed for outdoor temperatures from −15 to +65 °C, and the 6 m long painter line is used for launching and activation.
The hard container measures 72 × 46 × 32 cm. The corresponding technical drawing dimensions are A: 1940 mm, B: 2040 mm, and C: 1240 mm. The letter measurements refer to the product's technical drawing and have therefore not been renamed to length, width, or height.
Standard equipment includes a sea anchor with line, lifebuoy with line, two floating paddles, floating knife, bailer, two sponges, whistle, repair kit, manual pump, user instructions, and 12 seasickness bags. The raft also contains a flashlight kit, four red hand flares, two red parachute rockets, two floating smoke signals, a signal mirror, an ISO first-aid kit, two thermal protective aids, and a fishing kit. The drinking water supply is 1.5 litres per person, and six seasickness pills per person are included.
The liferaft is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9650 and the specified Italian regulations D.M. 12/08/2002 as well as D.M. 832/2004 of 10/03/2003. It must undergo inspection every two years to maintain proper function and readiness.
The raft must be positioned so that it can be released and float free without obstruction, and it must not be used as a step or seat. Relevant mounting equipment includes mounting kit 22.711.02 as well as universal liferaft cradles 22.700.00 and 22.700.01. The hydrostatic release unit 22.712.00 is a separate accessory for automatic release in the event of a wreck.
