OCEANLIFE liferaft with Grab Bag in soft bag is a self-inflating liferaft with a capacity for 6 people. It is intended for pleasure and recreational craft navigating beyond 12 nautical miles and without restrictions on distance from the coast.
The liferaft is supplied with a separate Grab Bag for the equipment. This division reduces the weight and dimensions of the liferaft's main bag, while the Grab Bag constitutes an integrated part of the total delivery.
The main container is a soft fabric bag with approximate dimensions of 64 × 27 × 40 cm and a weight of 34 kg. The separate Grab Bag measures 45 × 32 cm and weighs 13 kg. The total nominal component weight is therefore 47 kg.
The liferaft is certified according to ISO 9650-1 and classified as ISO 9650-1, Group A. The variant also has Italian approval according to D.M. 219/02. The national basis for approval should be checked against the requirements of the vessel's flag state and the intended sailing area.
Service and inspection must be carried out every two years. Regular inspection is part of the documented maintenance of the liferaft and its separate equipment bag.
