Blue protective cover for Lewmar Flush hatch from Oceansouth is custom-fitted for a square Lewmar Flush Profile hatch, size 70. The cover has nominal fit dimensions of 697 × 697 mm and protects the hatch against the sun and maritime weather conditions.
The cover is made of ATLAS textile with a proven material weight of 310 g/m². The material is waterproof, breathable, and UV-resistant, as well as resistant to weather, mildew, and mold. The breathable construction reduces the buildup of condensation around the deck hatch.
An elastic hem keeps the cover tight around the hatch frame, while a drawstring with a locking toggle secures it in place. The construction features double-stitched overlapping seams and marine-grade fasteners at the edge. The cover can remain in place whether the hatch is open or closed and fits Flush hatches with or without an air vent.
Installation requires neither screws nor a separate mounting kit. First, place the cover around the back of the hatch with the Oceansouth logo facing the hatch's opening direction. Then, pull the cover forward over the hatch, secure the elastic hem under the hatch frame, and tighten the drawstring with the locking toggle.
